Ryan Sutyla | 2019 C-VILLE-athon Finisher

Having lived in Charlottesville for over three years now (I'm currently in my 4th year of medical school), the c-ville-athon races have become one of the highlights of the community for me. The running culture here is unbeatable, with amazing camaraderie and (friendly) competition during every race. I recently completed the Richmond Marathon while wearing my 2019 C-ville 10 Miler shirt, and I heard at least 10 people cheer from the sidelines about much they love the 10 Miler and Charlottesville in general...I think that says all you need to know about running here. Pictured below are two past c-ville-athon winners (Johan Popovich and Austin Palmore) and myself after finishing the 2019 10 Miler, which has become one of my favorite races of the year! ​
