Carleigh Showalter | 2019 C-VILLE-athon Finishers
My favorite C-VILLE-athon race - all of them! From downtown Charlottesville to the beautiful Albemarle Countryside, the scenery, the people, the energy and refreshments at each one were memorable.
I enjoyed the C-VILLE-athon because it allowed me to see my “race pace” for a 5K, 8K, 10K & 10 mi. I was amazed at how close my times were to those predicted by Mark’s race pace calculator! Prior to the Cvillathon I only did 1-2 races per year. I learned a lot about running intensities required for different distances (and terrain!).
